The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Gram positive cell wall. Artwork showing the structure of a Gram positive bacterial cell wall. It consists of an inner (cytoplasmic) phospholipid membrane (bottom) surrounded by a think layer of peptidoglycan (blue). The membrane contains transmembrane proteins that facilitate the movement of molecules into and out of the cell.
