A striated crimson ridge serves as a foreground and frame to the deeper gorges, cliffs, and plateaus of the Grand Canyon. The intense colors and hues make these formations even more remarkable. This photograph was taken from the South Rim near Mather Point.
I'm a landscape and nature photographer. Previously I was a software engineer and worked on my photography as a hobby. While I very much enjoyed my career, it's now over and I've transitioned to my hobby full time. Now my focus (no pun intended) is on composition and lighting instead of deadlines and bugs. I'm happily moving onward and looking forward to my new endeavors.
