I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

Landscape in oils - Grand Dad's Farm is a fictitious place I dreamed up. I have seen many old farms like this in the mountains. There are three parts to this painting. I hope you will view all three.
About Bobbie Roberts
I have lived in Western North Carolina from birth. I enjoyed art at a very early age. I have been mostly self taught with a little help from my first art teacher, Mrs. Vinning . She taught art at a private school and gave private art lessons at her home in the evenings. I was lucky she found a little talent in me and took me on. I took art with her about two years. Then later in life, around 30 years of age, I went to UNCA and took art, writing and anything else that I thought would enhance my art. I studied there about a year. I worked full time in the summer camps of Camp Rockmont and Camp Merimac as their office person. And later as I got older I took a job with Tyson Furniture. I worked as Office Manager for more than 10...
