This corner bar was established in 1840, and is full of Irish history and traditions. You cannot help but notice the life-size portraits of Sir William Temple and Lady Martha Temple, both happily raising a toast to all passers by. They have live music daily, Powers Pure Pot Sill Whiskey, and a plate of oysters to wash down with a Pint of Guinness. I chose the meat and potatoes instead of the oysters, and just as the sign above the corner entrance proclaimed, I discovered that ... Guinness Is Good For You.
