This is an outstanding piece of work. The aura of Powell River with its resident fishing boats is portrayed beautifully. The vessel βShirleyβ is very thought provoking to me personally.

I am very pleased with the quality of the product, and the gift recipient loved it and brought them to tears as it was a sentimental gift.

Great!
Tim Allen replied:
Thank you very much, Mercedes.
ARJUN SEN
Great composition. I like the way the Hammering Man appears himself made out of scrap metal.
Tim Allen replied:
Thank you very much, Arjun. LOL Those pieces of "scrap" metal may actually be scrap from an aircraft carrier or something as they are 4" to 6" thick. It stands over 2 stories in height
Shadowlee Is

Tim Allen replied:

I think we had this same piece on temporary loan to an art gallery near the America Plaza and America Plaza skyscraper in downtown San Diego for a while. Chuck
Tim Allen replied:
LOL! Imitation is the greatest form of flattery. There is a miniature version of this in a guy drinking a beer outside a local bar and another of a guy leaning back against a building drinking a cup of coffee. In both cases the arm with the beverage moves in the same way Hammering Man's arm moves except it moves toward the mouth. Very cool. ;)
Tim Allen
You go, my union brother. I'm SEIU Local 6.
Jason Bordash
I can appreciate the Union....I came from a from a family, that the food and roof over my head was because of the UAW...."United Autoworkers Union".
Jason Bordash
Ive been to this place. Nice Artwork
Tim Allen replied:
Thank you, Jason. Being a union member and a shop steward, this sculpture has a lot of symbolic meaning to me. I'm glad I was able to capture it as well as I did. Thanks again for your comments.

This reminds me of Lebedev's work for his Russian avant-garde propaganda posters, but yours is far more elegantly done. Congrats.

This is a wonderful shot! Mind numbingly brilliant! I had a whole other train of thought till I saw this. it stopped me in my tracks. like god sent the most beautiful angels he had down to me and they whispered n my ear everything i ever wanted to hear while slowly giggling my balls. ...and i still cant remember what i was thinking about. Nice shot!
Tim Allen
Thank you Julie. I appreciate it greatly.
