Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. Artist's Description
Hands disfigured by leprosy. Hands of a man with leprosy that has progressed to the point where he cannot straighten the fingers of his left hand. Leprosy is a neurological disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium leprae. The damage to the nerves leads to disfiguring skin lesions and deformities. This photograph is from the papers of US physician Victor George Heiser (1873-1972). Heiser spent much of his life trying to prevent disease instead of just treating it. However, he was appalled by the way lepers were treated and frustrated by the failure to find a way to prevent and treat leprosy.
