My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. This picture is illustration to Ramayana part, where Hanuman is showing ring to Sita, to prove, that he is a friend of Rama. Sita is sad, because king of Sri Lanka Ravana stole her to make her his wife. But she is already wife of Rama and her heart belongs to Him only. So, she is just sitting under the thee all scared and upset, not knowing what horrible things would happen to her next. But Lord Ram is on his way to save her and he sends Hanuman, a king of monkeys to tell Sita about it.
There are many beautiful styles of art in India. Once i was inspired by one of them - it is called Kalamkari. Originally this style comes from Indian state Andhra Pradesh. This artwork is one of few, that i have accomplished. Unfortunately at the moment i am able to sell only prints. But, if you are interested, i can reproduce this painting.
