Harry Quinn TT bike with big TA chainset and lots of drilled bits for lightness. I loved my Quinn, it rode so responsively, all serious roadies had 'Quinn's' where I lived as a teenager, keen on 10 and 25 mile time trial racing. I painted this canvas to celebrate Harry Quinn's lightweight racing bikes, I particularly enjoyed painting the heraldic badge in the background. I have painted it in beautiful lustrous colours to enhance the bold geometric patterns and fine detail. The sides of the canvas are painted so it can be hung directly on the wall with or without a frame. It is signed front bottom right and on the back.

Born in Chester 1960, studied BA Fine Art (Sculpture) at Loughborough College of Art and Design and an MA in Art & Design (Painting) at Leeds Metropolitan University. First worked as a mechanic for London Bicycle Company and then as a ceramic technician for David Hilton Tableware in London for seven years, before becoming a 3D Design and Sculpture lecturer in Oldham, Greater Manchester. Moved to Hampshire to become Head of Art and Design in a Southampton, Sixth Form College and now Head of Art and Design at Peter Symonds College, Winchester.
