I really loved these dark wood benches in the courtyard at Castillo San Cristobal in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. It was such a peaceful site. The perfect place to sit and enjoy a sunny day. The peeling yellow stucco provided some texture.

"What the eye sees.....the heart feels." I am a Family Physician by trade with a thriving practice in community medicine. However, my heart & soul belong to photography. I started out in the art world with a degree in Graphic Design, intending on including photography as a major part of my art. When I was in high school and college during "the film days," I had my own black & white darkroom. After college I took a too-long hiatus as I waded my way through the medical world in search of my dream job. Who knew that eventually photography would draw me back in, back to where I started! On my way, I made the decision to go digital and will never look back! I had to relearn everthing I knew about f-stops, apertures, shutter...
