My version of a "selfie" done in pastel. This piece was prompted by FAA's request for new a headshot. It is typical of my life living at the lake.

My passion for art took hold at an early age. I love making images—specifically images of people. The first serious studies I did were portraits starting at age nine. For the most part I am self taught. I got my first job in commercial art at the age of 20. I had a 40 year career in Advertising as an Art Director and Associate Creative Director. I have worked for small to medium sized agencies and some well known in-house corporate agencies such as Honeywell, NordickTrack and Best Buy. My area of concentration was photo art direction, and Graphic Design.
