A glimpse into a brief moment in time ... the snow is still falling but in the distance, can a glimmer of brighter light be seen? Is the storm finally ending?
This image was taken on top of Blue Knob Mountain, in Claysburg, Pennsylvania in January of 2009. Although the original image, Heavy Laden, has been very popular, I've had many greeting card sales of this version with the snow-falling texture ... and decided to post it as wall art, as well. My thanks to CG Textures for the illusion of falling snow.

Welcome to Lois Bryan Photography and Digital Art. I'm a photographer / photography-based digital artist living in the mid-Atlantic region of the US. My images are based on the photographs I capture, mostly with Nikon cameras and lenses. Although my primary goal will always be to catch that perfect shot straight out of the camera, I also enjoy exploring the artistic and creative process as I work with Photoshop and other image editing programs. Still experimenting, still loving every minute behind the camera and still believing in the magic.
