This photo was taken at the annual Hip Shake 2012 4th of July celebration in Santa Cruz CA. From left to right; on the guitarist, harp, and vocals Dennis Tully, base guitarist the great Rich Fell, , the drummer Super Susan Youngblood, singer extraordinaire Rachelle Campillo, vocals, lead guitar and Hip Shake founder Greg "The Hindu" Henderson, saxophonist Mr. Louis Zamora.
About Richard Balison
I started his professional career by selling landscape photographs at local art fairs, doing corporate Christmas parties, high school reunions, wedding receptions .Then I found out local blues always are open having their picture taken. When I started getting known to the different band and singers. In Oct 2009 I was invited to the Westfest 40th anniversary of the legendary Woodstock Music and Art Fair a by Zane Mack a San Francisco based blues singer, and she got me a back stage. Photographed groups and singers were; Country Joe McDonald and Barry "The Fish" Melton , Jefferson Starship, The New Edwin Hawkins singers are among the better known bands.
