Take a stroll through time in my hometown of Lawrence, Kansas. Lawrence, Kansas is the only city in the United States that was formed entirely for political purposes just prior to the American Civil War. Here is an architectural and vehicular history of the town along Vermont Street that was echoed across the country. I couldn't help but be struck by the progression: a church (belief), a library (community), and a microwave tower (a voice). This is the story of each of our lives.
