I had held off purchasing any Super Bowl LVIII collectibles or memorabilia until I found something that I thought was just “awesome”. When I saw this SI Cover, I knew I had to have it. Honestly it’s one of the best photos I’ve ever seen. Along with the captions it captures what Super Bowl LVIII was all about. Your Photog was in the right place at the right time and did a great job of capturing what Chiefs fans all across the country felt at that moment. As you can see I had the perfect place for it, it makes this wall complete and up to date.

Artist's Description
Original Fine Art Photography by Donna Kennedy...
A never before occurrence has happened here in Reno, Nevada at Rancho San Rafael Park! All of the bird watchers and photographers have had their notebooks, cameras, video cameras and tripods set up and fixed on a nest with two chicks inside. What's so special about that you ask? Well, the female is a Red Eyed Vireo, NEVER to be seen in Nevada, and has mated with a Warbling Vireo which are common here. The fact that they are a pair and have two "hybrid" babies has NEVER happened before! The babies fledged the nest yesterday July 11, 2013 and this morning a quill was taken from one of the chicks and is being sent to a lab for DNA testing. Tomorrow someone from the Audubon society is coming out to band the babies. The chicks are on the ground and are being fed by the parents, I just hope they can survive all of the goings on at the park-people, dogs, coyotes, sprinklers ect. They are so small and can easily be stepped on. When I...
About Donna Kennedy
Life is like a camera...Focus on what is important, Capture the good times, Develop from the negatives, and if things don't work out, take another shot.... Having lived in the south (Florida & Mississippi) for 54 years my dream was to move out West which I did in 2008. I am in awe of this beautiful country that we call home, and photography has become a very important part of my life. Lighting and perseverance are top of the list, if it's having to hike for miles to get your shot, or waiting for hours in the freezing cold for a train, taking hundreds of images of birds or wildlife to get that one beautiful capture, or being up at all hours of the night or early morning to get the full Moon or Milky Way. These are things which a...

Wonderful capture Donna, and wonderful story. So tiny. Reminds me of my chipping sparrow story and gives me some hope that maybe he made it after all. God's creation is so amazing. Great to hear the little ones are being looked after.

Crosses do happen but the young are often sterile. They banded the young. Do they know if, what, and where the young went? Always interested in wildlife. For the last three years, we've had a pair of black vultures nest on the floor boards of an old granary and that has made interesting watching. What is curious is the window where the mother goes into the building is rather small. We often wonder how she lands in such a small space and gets in. Thanks for sharing with others. I've enjoyed this with you.

Hi Mary, unfortunately none of the babies survived, one was taken by a Jay and one was stepped on :( I haven't heard if the parents are still around this Spring...

UPDATE: Sadly one chick was lost Saturday afternoon to a hungry Jay. Mom tried her best to protect it but the Jay flew off with the little one in it's beak. It seemed weaker than it's sibling. Sunday afternoon the remaining fledgling was stepped on and killed by people that were having a picnic, it wasn't being watched for a few hours and that's all it took :( Now the bird watchers are going to see if the Red-eyed Vireo will hang around and pair up (and with who) to build another nest as they usually have two nests per year...Makes me very sad-nature is beautiful and amazing but it can be very cruel too.
