The universe spins above the abandoned Beetison Mansion in Ashland, NE, during the Lyrid meteor shower. The house was built in 1874 and was home to five generations of the Beetison family.

About the Artist - Evan Ludes

Evan Ludes

I'm Evan Ludes, a 19-year-old photographer living in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. I first started photography back in 2007. My equipment was at first modest (a PowerShot got me hooked), but grew along with my experience. Above all else, I enjoy shooting nature in all of its forms. From snowstorms to summer supercells, lightning, insects, landscapes, abandoned structures, I love it all. My focus has been primarily on stills, but Iím experimenting more and more with the art of timelapse photography. As far as gear goes, I shoot with the following: Canon 60D, XSi, 5Dmk1 Canon 50mm f/1.4 Tamron 10-24mm Canon 75-300mm Canon 18-135mm *Timelapses shot on Canon XSi w/Vello intervalometer* Feel free to contact me by sending an email to...
