Hong Kong, China - February 13, 2013: Neon signs on Nathan Road Kowloon Hong Kong. Nathan Road is the main thoroughfare in Kowloon, Hong Kong that goes in a south-north direction from Tsim Sha Tsui to Mong Kok. It is lined with shops, restaurants and tourists.
I began my career in digital web design and almost worked two decades in this dynamic internet field. Through design work, the use of stock imagery became necessary and this was the initial glimpse that soon ignited a passion in digital photography. As an autodidact in photography, and after many years of using an SLR and digital compact cameras, I got my first DSLR in 2007 and have been shooting mainly stock photography ever since.
Stock photography means shooting scenes both real and imagined with the aim of selling the pictures through photo libraries. Numerous photos have appeared in print and on the web. Due to stock photography’s very high technical standard, it is now the baseline for all of my work.
