Honolua Bay, on the Hawaiian island of Maui, is a snorkler's delight. It is part of the Honolua-Mokuleʻia Marine Life Conservation District, and it's not at all unusual for a snorkler to find themselves swimming among Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles or the Hawaiian state fish - humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa - or reef trigger fish. In the winter, its breaking waves provide the backdrop for the Billabong Pro women's surf tournament every December.

Sean Griffin (b. 1949- ) is an award-winning American fine art and portrait photographer who divides his time between the beautiful Pacific Northwest of the United States and the lush Sonoran Desert of Arizona. His work has been recognized by The Smithsonian, among others.
