This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

We were disappointed that the name of the artist is cut off and not showing in full. We feel the name of the artist is an important part of it and would love to have it rectified

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?
Artist's Description
Horsetooth Lake overlook near Fort Collins, Colorado. Horsetooth Reservoir is a large lake in southern Larimer County, Colorado just west of the city of Fort Collins. It sits in the foothills above the town on the western side of the Dakota Hogback, which contains the water along its eastern side. The reservoir runs north-south for approximately 6.5 miles, and is approximately one-half mile wide.
Constructed in 1949 by the Bureau of Reclamation as part of its federal Colorado-Big Thompson Project, water distribution is currently managed by the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District and Bureau of Reclamation. Horsetooth and Carter Lake serve as the two principal containers for water diverted eastward under the continental divide via the Colorado-Big Thompson.
Horsetooth reservoir is a supplementary source of municipal water for Fort Collins and other communities in the region, as well as for irrigation in the South Platte River valley. The reservoir takes its name...
About Jon Burch Photography
Photography is all about using light to capture the emotion and beauty of a fleeting moment. For me, this adventure began with a single spring image using a small Kodak film camera of a freshly watered central Kansas ditch and has come full circle using modern digital techniques. It was a long time ago and that camera was my passport to an art that has fascinated me ever since. I owned and operated a professional studio in central Kansas for 20 years and moved to Colorado in 1994. Part of the studio's early success came from creating outdoor portraiture using controlled lighting...
