I like the case one of a kind
This watercolor painting is of a bridge from the art studio to the Inn in Upstate, NY. It is high summer and the shadows are stark and dark. It is a standard one-point perspective composition, with the Inn located at the vantage point. Lush trees hang into the scene from on high.
Amy McConnell Burris is an artist currently living and working in Pittsburgh, PA. She has been drawing and painting for many years and in many venues. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art from the University of Oregon where she also majored in Romance Languages (French). She holds teaching certification in CT and OH, and an ESL endorsement where she has taught both children and adults in and out of the public school systems. Amy loves traveling and experiencing other cultures. Working chiefly in watercolor, Amy is also proficient in oil, acrylic, collage, charcoal, pencil and some print media. She is married to Keith C. Burris, a journalist, and has three children: Alec, Sophie, and Will.
