About Michelle Dick
Michelle is a self taught digital artist who is trained in the more 'logical' areas of computer science (Masters). As a child, Michelle enjoyed colour, but had little incentive to draw or paint - in fact she said, "I had no talent with a canvas and brush". With the advent of computers (and the delete button), Michelle became interested in graphics of all digital types: from drawing and painting (sometimes with mixed media), to photograph manipulation and use of clip masking. Her images can be stark in colour or mood, with no particular delight for any media or type of image. Age and personal circumstance in being a full-time carer has given Michelle more incentive to get the 'images that are so stark within her mind' to a media...
