This series deals with abuse issues that some of us have had to deal with in our love life, family, marriage, when dating. The tragic love of Desdemona and Othello mirrors these issues that are ultimately rooted in unresolved childhood issues and pain. Art can be a healing vessel, an educating medium which is why am thankful to R Paul Sardanas for commissioning me to be a part of this amazing collection!

ABOUT THIS IMAGE:
Desdemona stayed true to her love for Othello to the tragic end, powerful words, “I Do”. Her pain became palpable once the veil was lifted, exposing the depth of her despair.
CONNECT WITH ME:
I am a self-taught photographic artist, writer and poet. My primary goal as an independent artist is to translate experiences from my life into an art form, making the personal... universal. This approach allows me to create a connecting thread in the universal fabric we share, creating a gateway to emotions deep.
It is also important for me to use my art as an awareness heightening medium that addressees social issues, including; sexual abuse, domestic violence and mental illness/health.
