This is one of 195 illustrations contained in the first book of the adventure/fantasy series titled "The Vine Of Hours". I am the author/illustrator. Iammyaza has been drawn down further into the roots of his mountain and finds that it's floor is the cap of an active volcanoe. The lava flows up and out from many places and runs along the craggy ground in narrow streams. The dragon looks about and recognizes that this entire vast chamber was actually at one time an enormous lava channel. "What a cool lair." Iammyaza thinks to himself. He sits down in a nearby bubbling sulphurous pond and immediately finds every ach and pain that come in contact with the caustic liquid feels soothed. "Aaaahhh" He sighs leaning over to dip his sore wing tip in. He looks down into the hissing liquid and sees strange, very ugly armored fish constantly jumping up out of the pool snapping at bugs.
