Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Signal transduction occurs when a molecule from outside the cell (orange), for example a hormone molecule, activates a specific receptor located on the cell surface or inside the cell. This receptor triggers a biochemical chain of events inside the cell, creating a response. Depending on the cell, the response may be a change in the cell's metabolism, shape, gene expression, or ability to divide. The signal can be amplified at any stage, so that one signalling molecule can cause many responses.
