The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
Detail of a vintage postage stamp from Madagascar, digitally re-worked, featuring the distinctive red and white winged butterfly Chionaema Pauliani. The "imago" is the final stage reached by an insect at the end of its cycle of metamorphosis. Imago is Latin for "image". Interestingly, for anyone of artistic / creative inclination, the Latin plural is "imagines". And so by a long and winding route comes the title of this print, Imagine.

Born in London in 1965, I have lived and worked in Spain, Italy, Sri Lanka, and Germany. Photography has been a virtually life-long hobby and has accompanied me on my travels.
