This photo was shot John Lennon's Strawberry Fields memorial in Central Park, NYC. After I took this photo, my daughter and I walked across the street, where John Lennon's apartment building sits. After taking a few photos of the building, I put my camera down just as Yoko Ono walked out of the building! Needless to say, I stood in shock, as I watched her enter the Mercedes I was resting against. I was too stunned to get a photo of her, but the memory of that moment will stay with me forever.
I was born and raised in Utah, which allowed me to develop a love for nature, animals, camping, rock-climbing, hiking, fishing and clean, mountain air. At the age of 15, my family moved to Charleston, SC, which allowed me to develop a love for all things Southern and Hospitable. I've made Florida my home, for the past 20 years. There is nothing like Florida's Gulf Coast beaches, and I've found a certain peace, within its changing tides. I am a published, paid poet, writer, mixed-media artist and photographer. I believe beauty exists in all people, places and most things. I hope you enjoy my interpretation of what I find inspiring. Thank you for visiting my site.
