I was inspired to create this tranquil image after listening to the song with the same title. Paul Simon said he started writing the song in a bathroom with the lights out and the water gently running. (Hence the ĎHello, Darkness, my old friendí) This song is about the inability of people to communicate, not so much on an international level, but more so on an emotional level. It also speaks of commercialism too (the neon lights).
Iím one individual who has a variant tastes in art and creativity. I had my first SLR camera when I was 15 and was drawing since I donít know when, I like to create something from a blank page or a empty screen. Inspiration comes from all kinds of forms, mainly music, poems and people watching.
