I started this painting without a plan, reference or idea of what I wanted the finish product to be (like all the other paintings). All I knew was that I wanted to express the mystical silent beauty of fall, so with that I started, and several months later (and several layers of paint later) I finished, and I have to say I'm pleased with how it turned out.
*If you zoom in you will see that there is a LOT of detail in the trees and along the path leading into the woods. If you are interested, you will see that I have two more partials of this piece that are centered on the path itself.
35 Year old husband and father of four. Self taught painter and aspiring writer. Just completed my first book (600 page horror fiction) and am working on the final pass before submitting my query letters. Wrote a poem as an introduction to the story. The poem is titled "Abandoned" which was published by Tryst. You can see it here http://www.trystlitmag.com/poetry
My book (titled "Kane") will be available in e-book form by summer of 2015 and hopefully soon after, in hard cover.
