This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.

Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Artist's Description
Isabella of Portugal (1397-1471), Infanta of the House Avis, Duchess of Burgundy, daughter of John I. and Philippa of Lancaster, granddaughter of John of Gaunt, 1st Duke of Lancaster. To the territory of Burgundy belonged in their time the Netherlands. After the (re)-discovery of the Azores by the Portuguese in 1427, she supported the colonization with flemish citizens. On the island of Faial the village name Flamengo and the numerous windmills remember the influence of the early settlers and thus to Isabella. On the occasion of her marriage to Philip the Good of Burgundy, the Order of the Golden Fleece was instituted.
This charming portrait was painted by Rogier van der Weyden (1399/1400-1464), who was already at his lifetime regarded as one of the greatest painters of the Netherlands.
In the broadest sense this relates to a part of the history of my ancestors, so I had a great joy to enhance a photograph of this portrait according to our contemporary viewing habits.
