About the Artist

Charles Rayburn

My background and training is in Sculpture. Although I am not currently working on any Sculptures, I do have plans to create a series of smaller pieces soon. Over the past three years I've produced several abstract paintings, focusing on circles, dots and other abstractions found in nature. In the 1990's I photographed weddings, using medium format cameras (the kind that use film). I have recently rediscovered the joys of Photography through my i-phone. I've discovered some exciting photo applications for the i-phone, and I've have been manipulating photos in ways I never knew possible. Occasionally I leave a photo just as it wast originally shot.
