Artist's Description
This is a repaired and restored vintage photo of the Jefferson Market building in New York City. It is a landmark site in New York's Greenwich Village. Back then it was the court house. Now it is a New York Public Library. I love to visit this library and I hope to be able to go up in the bell tower one of these days! Perfect for contemporary home décor! A large giclee canvas print is a striking type of wall art that really makes a statement.

About Karla Beatty
My name is Karla Beatty. I am a painter and an illustrator for books, magazines, and the internet. My work covers a wide range of topics: landscapes, portraits, gardens, botanicals, travel, urban sketching, and more. Most of my work is in oils, acrylics, watercolors, graphite, carbon dust, and digital images. Much of my art is connected to travel adventures and experiences. A good portion of my paintings are created on location or plein air. Some of my work is from photographs where I paint, draw, sculpt, and spend way more hours than I intend to on the computer making digital art. All images ©2000-2015 Karla Beatty. All rights reserved. Copying and/or distributing these images without my permission is strictly prohibited.
