About Rachel Alhadeff
I was born in Central Africa and moved to the US in 1984. As a child, I used to observe things of nature around me, an expressed my feelings through music, sculpture and paining. Later in life, after being submerged in stress and everyday chores, I discovered that painting was the best therapy. It was a form ox expression and a relaxing way to enjoy each little thing that life and nature have to offer. I decided to improve my skills and joined a painting class, under the direction of wonderful artists. The joy of creating a painting overwhelms me and transports me to a world of dreams and hopes. I do not try to make things look perfect in my paintings, but I try to convey a feeling of joy and wholeness.
