I bought this in the greeting card form. I have been purchasing cards from Fine Art America for two or three years. Covid might have been some of the reason for looking for cards on the internet. Shops were closed. The main reason I buy cards from FAA is because I got tired of looking for cards at the usual card shops. I could find cards (sometimes) that looked good on the outside but the verses were terrible or it was the other way around...terrible on the outside but maybe a decent verse inside. I pick cards from FAA that fit with the occasion. I figure I can write something on the inside as good as any card company could. I wouldn't buy these cards if I didn't think they were wonderful. The cards are beautiful and excellent quality and the envelopes are equality as good. I am glad I can make a copy of what I've bought so I can keep track of who gets what card. I don't want to send the same card to someone twice. In this case, the card is going to someone for Mother's Day.

This is the Jerusalem Cross sculpture done in Sepia Tone. I love the rich texture this shade gives to things. The contrasts come out. The picture is of a cross that illustrates Jerusalem at the center with the gospel going out from there to the four corners of the world. Here is our "official bio"...James and Deborah Montana are mixed media artists from East Texas. James primarily works in recycled carbon steel, stainless steel, silicon bronze and found objects. The repurposed metals yield a surprising array of colors and textures as the fire pulls the impurities to the surface, making no two crosses alike. The firing process will always produce a one of a kind mark as unique as your finger print. Some of the crosses are quite colorful under fire, while others are heavily etched in deep, dark tones.
This process is an allegory of our journey with Christ. In the Refiners Fire, we are transformed into the image of Christ as He takes us...
Hi, I'm Deborah Montana, an artist working in photography, sculpture and acrylics. My paintings and photographs express the passion I feel for my Beloved Bridegroom Jesus and the places He opens my heart to visit during times of soaking, prayer and reading the word. I prefer to paint outdoors if the weather is nice. Inside I am often paint to music by Pastor Mark Davidson, Laura Woodley Osmon and Heather Clark's Dark Yet Lovely. I also love to create digital art. It's so forgiving and I often don't know where I am going to end up. I like that! My resuced dog Dixie Belle is a steady companion no matter how late I stay up. Her photograph is the "cover shot" for one of the galleries. She's the red head. The photographs you see often...
