My name is Paul Kuras and I am a professional freelance car designer/illustrationist. I often draw cars, but enjoy drawing anything in the transportation field. I was born and raised in Dover, Delaware. I have always had an interest in cars starting with Hot Wheels when I was a kid. That interest hasn't changed, only grown. I left Dover in 1994 to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the Center For Creative Studies with a major in Industrial Design. While I was at the school, I was given many visual communication projects, especially in the transportation courses. I had a lot of fun learning about how the light hits a surface, or how to indicate “body roll”. I enjoyed creating these car illustrations that seemed to just jump...
