I fell in love with this photo the day that Jan posted it. The cards are beautiful, frame able for a small space. I like that they have plenty of room for writing or doodling inside.

In Greek mythology Oedipus, the king of Thebes, was fated to kill his father and to marry his mother in accordance with an oracle from Delphi. Despite attempts by his parents and later by himself to avoid his fate, he unwittingly kills his father and marries his mother, having four children in incest. Homer related that Oedipus wife and mother Jocasta hanged herself when the truth of their relationship became known. This famous myth was meant to show that one cannot escape one's fate.
This is a signed original work painted in oil on canvas.
