Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. One of my heroes. I always respected him for his anti war activism so I felt
that element should be part of the portrait.
About Mike Mitch
Mike Mitch was born and raised in the American Midwest. He earned a BFA in painting and lithography and an MFA in painting. After graduation, he switched from painting to making boxed constructions, inspired by the work of Joseph Cornell. Periodically, he returns to painting, in a range of styles. One series entitled “Saints and Sinners” was done in a faux naive style, honors the spirit of jazz and blues legends. Mike has also done a “Rothko” series, as an homage to one of his favorite painters. A popular recent series of freestanding constructions, “Voodoo dolls”, commemorated some favorite rock ‘n’ roll and blues musicians in a good humored, funky fashion.
