Joy of Victory-Agony Of Defeat
Out on the ice one Winter day,
The local hockey team was leading all the way,
Considered as underdogs at the onset of the game,
Forced their opponent's hope for victory to wane,
The weary defensive team can't seem to hold
While their fans are angered and continue to scold,
The electric scoreboard at the end of the rink
Glows steady and bright and continues to blink.
Shortly after the game the victors come in,
The players tuckered, the coach with a grin,
Filled with joy and pride they'll scarcely wait,
Especially if the post game accolades are late,
The players kneel and in unison pray,
For their stellar performance on this Winter day.

Inspired by the world around me, I am sent out to capture moments in time, that I hope can find another's soul, the way it has captured mine! Karol Livote
My story is quite simple. I was about ten years old when my sister gave me my first camera. I took right to photography. In my high school days, I was hardly seen without a camera in my hand. I participated in Photography classes and had my own darkroom at my home. Over the years, I have kept up with my photography and I continue to promote my images thru publications and sales. My greatest love is nature and all is has to offer, however, there are times I will focus on other subjects, as well.
