My work is meticulously made with care put into every step. It may be hard to see in a photo, but my work is low relief and is encapsulated in a shadowbox frame. I use foamcore to give the 3-D effect. The image is drawn out on paper, then cut apart. These pieces are then painted using Acrylic, shot though an Airbrush. Next I take these pieces and use them as a template to cut out the foamcore. The foamcore is cut multiple times, depending on the depth I want to achieve. All the foamcore is then glued together. All the paper is then placed on top of the foamcore and glued. It's like putting together a giant jig-saw puzzle without a picture!

Jason's artwork is not just what you see on your computer screen. Each piece is made with multiple layers to give it 3-D effect. Its called "Analog 3-D" you don't have to plug it in the wall to make it work! The multiple layers, sometimes can be as many as 15, gives the artwork an ever changing image. The light throughout the day or just the angle you are viewing the painting can make it change. Its always been difficult to show what Jason's are really is until you see it in real life.
