I'm so glad you knew what I was talking about. The last thing I'd ever want to do is make light of anyone's work. We do indeed have the same kind of likes. I wish you could see the little town of Waldo, about 5 miles from us. A photog could almost make a life of pictures from there. Have your self a great 4th. They've banned fireworks around here. So very, very hot and dry.

Oh Don, I knew what you meant. Was just commenting on the staple because I was surprised to see it there when I first saw the bolt and knothole. I truly appreciate you commenting on my art. We seem to have some deep likes in the same things that make for unique images.

Oh goodness Mary, I didn't mean to imply that you HAD set anything up, but only that a person could make a heck of a still life out of it. If anyone ever did something like this as a still life, I'd like it one heck of a lot more than most. Honest though, it never even occurred to me that this was anything less than what it is. So very sorry if I gave that impression!

By the way, Don, the staple was already there, rusted like all the rest. Maybe someone once hung a sign to keep people out, maybe?
