Beautiful print! The only thing I don’t love is the imprint from the wood at the back of the canvas. Maybe different packaging would help?

I received my beautiful painting which am presenting at my speech at Ocean County College in NJ … HOWEVER the ‘ready - to - hang’ is for ‘horizontal’ and my painting is ‘vertical’ …. I NEED CREDIT ADJUSTMENT or resend a new painting asap….
Artist's Description
A black and white portrait of this cute one.
The word koala comes from the Dharuk gula. Although the vowel /u/ was originally written in the English orthography as "oo" (in spellings such as coola or koolah), it was changed to "oa" possibly due to an error. The word is erroneously said to mean "doesn't drink".
The scientific name of the koala's genus, Phascolarctos, is derived from Greek phaskolos "pouch" and arktos "bear". Its species name, cinereus, is Latin and means "ash-coloured".
Although the koala is not a bear, English-speaking settlers from the late 18th century first called it koala bear due to its similarity in appearance to bears. Although taxonomically incorrect, the name koala bear is still in use today outside Australia. Its use is discouraged because of the inaccuracy in the name
About Robert Bales
I am a retired teacher, coach, and athletic director. While my wife, Judy, and I were teaching she had a photo studio, and I had a dark room where I did black and white and color. Some were for the studio while most of it was just a hobby. When we retired in 2000, we sold our house in Eastern Washington and moved onto our boat, Last Class, and our motorhome. Over our 50 years of marriage, we have always had an interest in photography and both of us enjoy taking the photos for this site. I have always used Cannon cameras and now I am using the 7D for most of the...

Awesome koala portrait Robert!!! Loving the B&W dynamics. Great description too! I volunteer for a Koala Rescue org here in South Australia - it continually warms my heart at the number of concerned people who call in when they see an injured or sick koala at all hours of the day and night - and prepared to do anything that they can to help the koalas. *Cute, Yes - but beware of those claws! haha
