Ileana Carreno

A native of Colombia, South America started drawing and painting at a very young age and was fascinated with art in High School where a great mentor teacher taught her lots of mediums and techniques. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology at the University of Southern California and went on to also become a dentist and graduated from the University of Southern California in 1979. She shortly decided to move to Hawaii back then and now resides and practices Dentistry in Kilauea, Hawaii. Her love for art, nature, and the fact Hawaii has such natural beauty has inspired her to continue her passion to paint.
