The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

New Zealand is full of ferns. The new bud of a fern symbolises new growth and hope for the future and is a deep part of the culture. Lvingin in Norway for several years has shown me there is a similar artistic influence here from the fern fronds in Celtic and norse art. This is a stylized version of the fern frond in complimenting colours creating harmony.

Born in Scotland, raised in New Zealand and living in Norway. Create work with a nature theme in photography and digital drawings and paintings. Currently dealing with long term chronic pain, creating art is a way to deal with this.
