Love the painting and the rich colorful blues, reds, greens, & yellows! A nice addition to our cowboy/southwest decor vibe.

Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.
Artist's Description
The Curley Community Center in South Boston Massachusetts is commonly referred to as the L Street Bathhouse.
In its earliest days it provided separate changing and bathhouse facilities for men, boys, and a third for women and girls. Bathing, both in the water and in the sun was done in the nude which explains the fences operating the portions of the beach and keeping it private from the adjacent, and popular, M Street Beach.
The people of the time who came regularly to the L St Bathhouse in all weather and season became known locally as "Brownies" due to the dark tans their skin would have after to the constant exposure to the sun and wind.
Presently the building host the Curler Community Center and the L Street Brownies hold an annual Polar Plunge on New Years Day where hundreds take a tip in the frigid waters of the Atlantic Ocean despite the traditionally cold temperatures in New England in January.
About Brian MacLean
Brian MacLean is the father of two children. He is a local Massachusetts photographer who discovered his passion for photography 20 years ago after using his brothers camera. Brian shoots the majority of his images with a Canon DSLR and a wide angle lens but believes that equipment is less important then the photographers vision and...
