This image is one I took of a reflection in the water of a hugely talented acrobatic couple, Franck and Delphine, performing an amazing, awe-inspiring feat of aerial artistry aboard their sailboat. They use the deck and rigging of their sailboat, as well as long, delicate swaths of silk to perform these amazing stunts with great strength, agility and grace, beautifully choreographed to music written especially for their shows which combine theater, circus and dance. They started doing performances in 2004, and are currently circumnavigating the world aboard their sailboat, La Loupiote, along with their 2 daughters, Ondja and Loeva, who sometimes performs with them as a puppet.
