Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. This award winning piece received the award for Mixed Media from the Geneva Lake Art Assn.(GLAA) while it was part of a recent exhibit in Lake Geneva WI.
Note, the texture and brush strokes thru out the slice of local Americana the work represents. LADY OF THE LAKE, is a replica of a 1873 Mississippi paddle wheel steamer in the Victorian style. It provides daily narrated tours of Geneva Lake that leave from Lake Geneva City,WI, Riveira Docks. As the boat glides through the magical, mystical, crystal blue water that is spring fed; passengers will veiw over 50 lakeshore, opulent, majestic, historic mansion estates reminicent of a bygone era. These homes enjoy colorful past. Geneva Lake was cut from a glacier. It's deepest spot is 140ft. It is 9 miles long and has 27 miles of shoreline that vary from flat to high and rugged terrain. Jane Butera Borgardt has a B.A. in Fine Art from Northeastern Illinois University. She exhibits in both Illinois and Wisconsin. She works in many diverse mediums.
