Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

I bought this in the greeting card form. I have been purchasing cards from Fine Art America for two or three years. Covid might have been some of the reason for looking for cards on the internet. Shops were closed. The main reason I buy cards from FAA is because I got tired of looking for cards at the usual card shops. I could find cards (sometimes) that looked good on the outside but the verses were terrible or it was the other way around...terrible on the outside but maybe a decent verse inside. I pick cards from FAA that fit with the occasion. I figure I can write something on the inside as good as any card company could. I wouldn't buy these cards if I didn't think they were wonderful. The cards are beautiful and excellent quality and the envelopes are equality as good. I am glad I can make a copy of what I've bought so I can keep track of who gets what card. I don't want to send the same card to someone twice. In this case, the card is going to someone for Mother's Day.

This particular painting is done on 24"x36" canvas. The process involves creating a multi-layer stencil (this one is 5 layers). Each layer must be hand cut and then layered onto the canvas from the darkest layer to the lightest layer. The layers are spray painted on the canvas.
Mark Burns began his artistic career cartooning. In high school he was featured numerous times in the school newspaper. He also participated in several art shows, winning 1st place awards both in cartooning and watercolor. During his senior year he really wanted to start creating art that was outside the box. He took his cartooning skills and began creating very abstract, surrealistic ink drawings and painting them with watercolors. As time went on, Mark embarked on a fine art degree from North Central College. During his time there he further developed his own unique style of painting incorporating many different mediums. While other students were painting portraits of cats and soothing landscapes, Mark was painting subject matter that...
