~ Brave, smart, resourceful, and loving, Rahab dreamed of leaving Jericho. It was the only way to start new and shed the way of life that crushed her spirit and made her an outcast.

~ Her story begins when Joshua, leader of the Israelites, dispatches two spies into the walled city of Jericho. These were guided by God to stay at the inn of Rahab, a prostitute. Rahab had heard about the God of Israel and recognized Him as the true God. So she bravely risked her life to help the Israelites because of her faith in Him.

~ Rahab made an oath with the spies. She would keep silent about their mission and the Israelites would spare everyone in her household when they invaded and destroyed the city.

~ The king of Jericho heard about the Israelite spies. Soldiers were sent to search Rahab�s rooms, but she cleverly hid her guests on the roof of the inn, and told the soldiers the visitors had left hours before. Then, when night came, she helped the spies descend...
