About the Artist - David Starr

David Starr

David F. Starr is a painter who's work dives into myth, science, cuteness, violence, and relationships. "I interweave stories of various histories in the work to compose new and interesting narratives, which pay homage to the past and link them to the present." Starr graduated December 2004 Magna Cum Laude from University of Wisconsin - Stout with a B.F.A. in Fine Art, where he completed a year long Student Artist in Residence, and also Peninsula Art School's Emerging Artists.
