This was our first purchase from the site and we love it! It arrived quickly. We wanted something different for the guest bath and this art combined two of my husband's favorite things. The curtain has a quality feel to it and the design is bright I wasn't sure of the color combination at first (orangey red, navy, turquoise and a touch of black) but it works! We've received many compliments and chuckles. My only regret was not being able to fit the words on without using a border - I was unsure of the colors, etc. Bottom line is that we love what we received!!! LOVE it!

NICE.
This oil painting is an early morning scene of a light house on the east coast of Maine. The foreground is a rocky shore with ocean waves breaking against large granite boulders. Sea roses are in bloom along the road leading to the lighthouse. A fence is following the road on the left side between the drive and the cliff going to the water. On the right side of the two track is a lawn with wild flowers growing and a path leading to the front door of the light keepers house. The house is brick and the roof is red, the chimney has smoke coming out of it. The light tower is high on a cliff over looking the ocean. It's light is on. Behind the house are blue green pine trees. In the distant horizon is an island silhouetted by the sunlight. Dramatic clouds reflecting the suns red and yellow light finish off the scene. I have been an oil painter my entire life. Many of the paintings that I do are sentimental rural settings. I also like to paint landmarks and paintings that tell a story like "Surprise Visit". My paintings have won first place in a lot of competitions and many times have been sold that way. To me there is no more satisfying experience than to complete a painting and be happy with the outcome. The next best thing is to have someone buy it! I hope you enjoy looking at my paintings and I welcome your comments. I will personalize a print once you have kept it for the duration of the 30 days. You must pay the shipping to and from me.
