Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

A lot of emotions went in to this drawing. And it was one I had always known that I would draw some day. This is my uncle Homer, Admiration for how highly I held him of all the people in my life. And I felt grief because he passed away in 2006.
The photograph I used for reference was 1-1/2" x 2" Black and White Sepia photograph. I love the old sepia photos. They are so clear and crisp I could see so much detail.
The back of the photo said "Dale, age almost 5 years. He was born in 1936 so this had to be about 1940. My dad was an older brother and tells me stories of how tough it was and how little they had. So it must have been a special occasion if pictures were taken. With his sleeves rolled up and a hat that's a little to big. He looks like a Lil Tough Guy.
Dale severed in the Navy, and loved the outdoors. He taught me how to hunt and trap. He took me fishing to his special secret spot and was known as a man that you don't want to start a fight with.

Todd Spaur, lives in small rural town of Bussey Iowa. graduated Twin Cedars High School in 1980. Graduated with an AA Degree from Des Moines Area Comm. College in 1983. Has Worked in the sign business as a designer and sign painter for most of his carreer. Became disabled from a car accident in 1994. Has worked as a freelance artis since Mainly doing portraits of people from photographs. Main highlights of carreer were the portrait of President Obama, autographed original. Also was featured on the Today Show "American Story, Payback Painter" with Bob Dotson. This was on July 4th 2012, the story focused on a mural painted on a building in his hometown of Bussey, as a thank you to the town for helping him and his family after a horrible...
