This painting makes me happy!! The colors are really fun and, like his other pieces I own, expertly painted. I want to live in this cottage and walk into the ocean. Ordered it on canvas - well executed. Thank you for the smiles!
Artist's Description
Historic Mystic Seaport waterfront on the Mystic River in autumn with lobster boxes and tall ships sloops sailboats Nellie and Regina M. Mystic Connecticut was a wooden shipbuilding center from the 1600s through the 1800s. In 1929 residents founded the Marine Historical Association to keep the past alive. The seaport, with historical buildings, demonstrations and ships, is a popular New England tourist destination and beautiful to visit in the fall as well as summer.
Fun wall art for a beach house kitchen or a seafood restaurant or anywhere you want a glimpse of the sea. I have a series of images from Mystic and other Connecticut shore towns so please check back frequently as I upload more.
